Embark on this pivotal journey alongside our dedicated team, flourishing under the supervision of our T&amp;D Lines Leadership Team.&#xa0;This team is working on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Canada.<br>\n&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Develop safe engineering solutions through design, problem analysis, and interpreting specifications for medium complexity utilities projects.&#xa0;</li><li>Assist project/operations management in meeting safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets by proposing plan changes, recommending contractor payments, preparing progress reports, and coordinating work schedules&#xa0;</li><li>Resolve highly technical and unusual design and field engineering problems through independent studies, analysis, exercising judgment in information selection, and recommending safe engineering designs&#xa0;</li><li>Contribute to CIMA+'s engineering practices by conducting studies, developing technical standards, exercising judgment in information evaluation, recommending designs, and providing guidance to other engineers&#xa0;</li><li>Deliver exceptional customer service by defining engineering scope with clients, establishing design criteria, approving technical documentation, and assessing/reporting progress against standards and objectives for safe, quality, budget-compliant, and timely project completion&#xa0;</li><li>Design overhead line structures and associated facilities for voltages from 60kV to 500kV in an electric utility environment</li><li>Prepare project documentation like reports, specifications, proposals, estimates, design basis, and test plans per CIMA+’s practices&#xa0;</li><li>Develop design work packages with scope, duration, and effort estimates, and manage design tasks including scope, schedule, and cost for existing and new facilities&#xa0;</li><li>Provide signed/sealed engineering deliverables as a Professional of Record per EGBC and CIMA+’s practices&#xa0;</li><li>Offer technical assistance, construction support, and field reviews as required&#xa0;</li><li>Perform structural design, analysis, and detailing for structures associated with transmission underground cables (including potheads, concrete vaults, cable duct banks) and transmission submarine cables (including terminations and potheads)&#xa0;</li><li>Apply loads, design criteria, seismic analysis per regulatory and industry standards, considering associated civil, mechanical, electrical systems like foundations, lightning protection, conductors, and hardware&#xa0;</li></ul>",
