    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing therapy, counseling and intervention services to the Clinic's patients as referred by the physician.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Relationships</strong></p>\n<p>Reports to the Operations Manager</p>\n<p><strong>Principal Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct counseling and case management with individuals and families.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with providers to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs that patients can understand and comply with.</li>\n <li>Perform tasks related to direct practice, such as writing progress notes, assessments, reviews and case management functions, such as making referrals to other agencies and testifying in court if necessary.</li>\n <li>Attend required staff meetings and participate in committees as required.</li>\n <li>Provide mental health screenings and initial assessments to medically-referred and other clients.</li>\n <li>Provide short-term, structured, evidence-based psychotherapy as part of an appropriate treatment plan.</li>\n <li>Facilitate referrals to other services (e.g. substance abuse treatment, specialty care, and community resources) as needed.</li>\n <li>Provide clinical therapeutic services to patients, including individual and group therapy and coordination of treatment for participants with co-occurring disorders.</li>\n <li>Provide crisis intervention as needed.</li>\n <li>Develop, coordinate, and administer community education, as needed or requested.</li>\n <li>Provide assessments and care to specific nursing home patients, as requested by physician.</li>\n <li>Provide assessments can care to specific patients who are homebound, as requested by physician.</li>\n <li>Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training &amp; accomplishments as required per policy.</li>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.</li>\n <li>Perform other job duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education/Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Masters or Doctorate degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>At least two (2) years (preferred) or 3,000 hours of post Master's clinical experience in a supervised clinical setting.</li>\n <li>Experience working with children, adolescents and adults preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licenses/Certificates</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Emotional resilience and stability required.</li>\n <li>Experience working with children, adolescents and adults preferred.</li>\n <li>Must be able to interact effectively with other employees at all levels of the organization, as well as with the general public.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in writing and verbally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Normal office setting.</li>\n <li>Requires long periods of sitting.</li>\n <li>May have exposure to communicable diseases.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHI/Privacy Level</strong></p>\n<p>HIPAA1</p>",
