If you think you are an innovative, self-motivated team-player, and want to shape your community, join our WGI team today!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WGI offers a complete Benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD & STD, Life Insurance, 401k with match, PTO, Holidays, HSA with company contribution, Pet insurance, and Employee assistance program.</strong></p>\n<p>#LI-onsite</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and build custom web mapping applications using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript (4.x), HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript development practices.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain custom widgets and extensions for Esri web app frameworks (e.g., Experience Builder and Web AppBuilder) to deliver functionality not available out-of-the-box.</li>\n <li>Create responsive, accessible, and user-friendly GIS tools for both desktop and mobile users.</li>\n <li>Write and maintain Python (ArcPy) scripts to automate geoprocessing, map production, data updates, and publishing workflows (including geoprocessing services).</li>\n <li>Integrate GIS with external business systems (e.g., asset management or ERP platforms) using RESTful APIs, JSON, SQL, and ETL approaches (e.g., FME or Python-based pipelines).</li>\n <li>Support and contribute to ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online configurations and customization efforts in coordination with GIS and IT stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Follow modern software engineering practices including version control (Git/GitHub), code reviews, documentation, and deployment processes.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with project managers and end users to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical designs, and deliver well-tested, maintainable solutions.</li>\n <li>Adapt to and integrate new technologies in support of improving GIS development workflows and platform capabilities.</li>\n <li>Adhere to safety and information security policies.</li>\n <li>Work well independently and as a team member.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred.</li>\n <li>3–5 years of experience in GIS application development or closely related software development experience with geospatial components.  </li>\n <li>Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python; working knowledge of SQL.</li>\n <li>Experience with the Esri ArcGIS API for JavaScript and the ArcGIS REST API.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.</li>\n <li>Experience configuring and/or customizing ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal/Server) and/or ArcGIS Online.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated portfolio of web mapping applications, custom GIS tools, or relevant project experience.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
