This role contributes to maintaining buildings, equipment, utilities, and grounds to ensure optimal support for production operations, employee safety, and regulatory compliance. The Facilities Specialist works closely with operations, engineering, EHS (environment, health & safety), and supply chain teams to enable smooth day-to-day manufacturing and long-term facility reliability.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Annual Salary: $70,843 to $125,370</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Facility Operations & Maintenance</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, compressed air, water treatment, etc.).</li>\n <li>Repair, calibration, and replacement of production support infrastructure (boilers, chillers, waste treatment systems, forklifts, cranes, etc.).</li>\n <li>Work with the Facilities Manger to coordinate service contracts, outside vendors, and contractors for facility repairs and capital projects.</li>\n <li>Ensure that consumables are stocked, using a Kanban or similar system, to include but not limited to bathroom supplies, commonly used repair parts, and commonly used installation parts.</li>\n <li>Ensure that consumables are available to employees at all times, included in the restrooms and production floor.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Safety, Compliance & Sustainability</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure facilities comply with OSHA, EPA, fire codes, and other regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Partner with the EHS team to implement safety programs, audits, and corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Develop sustainability initiatives (energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation).</li>\n <li>Maintain emergency response readiness (fire systems, backup power).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Manufacturing Support</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate with production leadership to minimize downtime from facility issues.</li>\n <li>Support installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment by ensuring facility readiness.</li>\n <li>Provide facilities input into capacity planning, layout changes, and expansion projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>HS Diploma or GED required.</li>\n <li>Three years of experience as a facilities specialist or maintenance technician in a manufacturing or similar environment.</li>\n <li>Hands-on mechanical aptitude and proficiency diagnosing and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and fluid systems/equipment.</li>\n <li>Experience working on various material handling equipment such as electric pallet jackets, forklifts, and overhead and jib cranes.</li>\n <li>Experience operating forklifts.</li>\n <li>Ability to work on-site during operational hours with occasional overtime as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>EEOC Statement</h2>\n<p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</em><em>Nikkiso CE&IG is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
