    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Signet Health is hiring for a <strong>Mental Health Technician</strong> for our program at St. Joseph Health Burleson Hospital in Caldwell, TX. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Mental Health Technician is a key position that provides direct patient care, transportation services, monitors patients' physical and emotional needs, and administratively supports the psychiatric program. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides patient transportation to and from the program</li>\n <li>Assists in maintaining medical records</li>\n <li>Performs Admissions/Insurance Verification and Billing </li>\n <li>Monitors patient interactions and safety</li>\n <li>Provides clerical support</li>\n <li>Assists in patient data collection</li>\n <li>Provides patient information as a member of the interdisciplinary team</li>\n <li>Answers the telephone, screens calls, takes messages, answers questions about the program</li>\n <li>Processes mail and ordering program supplies</li>\n <li>Markets program with daily contacts</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>1+ years of work experience in a healthcare facility or personal care for senior adults preferred</li>\n <li>Clean driving record</li>\n <li>Familiarity with medical and psychiatric terminology</li>\n <li>Proficient in EXCEL, and other Microsoft Office programs</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills to provide targeted therapeutic interventions with patients. </li>\n <li>Ability to build positive and respectful rapport with patients, families and coworkers.</li>\n <li>Works well in a busy team environment</li>\n</ul>",
