    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><em><strong>CI Engineer </strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To become the world’s greatest baker, we need the world’s greatest team members.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Site Leader, the Continuous Improvement Engineer will initiate and drive execution on projects related to standardizing best practices, continually reducing costs and increasing overall efficiencies; all within a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>What FGF Offers:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>FGF believes in Home Grown Talent, accelerated career growth with leadership training, unleashing your potential </li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits including Vision & Dental and flexible options at competitive premiums </li>\n <li>401k matching program</li>\n <li>Discount program - Restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc.</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>As part of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team, work on multiple projects related to operations, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sanitation, Quality, and Maintenance & Reliability</li>\n <li>Collect and analyze data following a structured methodology (DMAIC) to implement sustainable improvements in all aspects of Operations</li>\n <li>Working with a multidisciplinary team, the OpEx Engineer will support planning and execution of key continuous improvement projects under the guidance of the OpEx Team Leader</li>\n <li>Support commissioning activities of new equipment and manufacturing lines</li>\n <li>Create an environment which continues to foster continuous improvement and lean manufacturing</li>\n <li>Lead training sessions for multiple teams including Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Maintenance</li>\n <li>Support troubleshooting and driving completion of projects to enable them to be brought to fruition</li>\n <li>Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times</li>\n <li>Working in automation and development of prototype applications</li>\n <li>Leverage AI and digital tools to analyze operational data, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven continuous improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Use AI to enhance problem-solving, automate reporting, and improve documentation while ensuring insights are validated and aligned with on-ground operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completed Post-Secondary education Engineering, Business Management or a related field</li>\n <li>1+ year experience in a Continuous Improvement role in manufacturing (co-op is considered)</li>\n <li>Certifications in Lean Six Sigma is an asset</li>\n <li>Experience with Excel Advanced Functions and VBA is an asset</li>\n <li>Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Bi, PowerApps, Power Automate, etc. or interest in learning) is an asset</li>\n <li>Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Prior work experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset</li>\n <li>Must possess excellent analytical skills</li>\n <li>Must have demonstrated ability to interact with others and is adept at leading and motivating a team</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are required</li>\n <li>Flexible to work different work schedules when needed</li>\n <li>Must be flexible, high energy and passionate in getting things done</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
