If you are looking for a job that gets you <b>out of the office and into the field</b>, a place where you can make a <b>lasting impact on community safety</b>, and a place where you are offered the opportunity to <b>learn and grow</b>, don't wait another moment, apply now!</p><p><b>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>Make daily pre-trip inspections of assigned truck and other assigned equipment.</li><li>Drive assigned vehicle/equipment to and from job site, as directed.</li><li>Operate equipment properly and in accordance with all manufacturer recommendations and training, to complete the necessary task.</li><li>Observe distribution of striping material to adjust machine settings or material flow.</li><li>Utilize communication system to stay in contact with truck driver.</li><li>Assist with layout of roadway markings.</li><li>Manually load or unload equipment, materials, or supplies.</li><li>Correctly load and secure all loads.</li><li>Perform roadway preparation, including grinding, sealing, tape removal, as directed.</li><li>Assist in traffic control as directed.</li><li>Assist in maintenance of assigned equipment.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining assigned PPE and having proper PPE on hand for scheduled work.</li><li>Participate in all required safety training including weekly Toolbox Talks.</li><li>Clean and organize warehouse, shop, yard, office, and vehicles to maintain a clean, safe work environment.</li><li>Must follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols.</li><li>Any other duties assigned as needed.</li></ul><p><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li><b>Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen</b></li><li><b>Must possess a current Driver's License, Commercial Driver's License preferred</b></li><li><b>Must be able to work a flexible schedule with overtime, nights, and weekends as the job requires</b></li><li>The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.</li><li>Must meet the eligibility requirements of the TM Fleet Policy to be a company sanctioned driver.</li></ul><p><b>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:</b></p><ul><li>Must possess good interpersonal skills</li><li>Good communications skills, both written and oral</li><li>Good hand and foot coordination</li><li>Ability to read and understand gauges and other indicators.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot problems and offer solutions.</li><li>Strong critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to apply concepts of basic math</li><li>Ability to manage time between two or more projects at one time.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend instructions and procedures</li><li>Possess minimum ability to read a tape measure</li><li>The ability to apply knowledge and skills to achieve intended results</li><li>Must successfully complete First Aid, CPR, AED and Flagger when assigned by the company.</li><li>Must successfully complete Forklift certification – <b>understand you are not permitted to operate company forklift until certification is received.</b></li></ul><p>**Traf-Mark is an equal opportunity employer.
