This includes setting equipment up for production, any necessary cleaning, monitoring the filling process of the finished product, and final packaging for distribution. This position will also support any other production activities as required by the Lead, Production Supervisor, or the Manufacturing Manager. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a dayshift position, 6:00am - 6:30pm on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: </strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Highschool Diploma or GED </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to safely operate a tow motor </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Works in accordance with, and supports, company Standard Operating Procedures as outlined in the HACCP, SSOP and Quality manuals </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Reliable, dependable, with a “team player” orientation </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Willingness to be flexible on working hours, including weekends and holidays </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Willing to work overtime as needed </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Willingness to speak up and review problems with supervisor in order to determine best course of action, offering suggestions and providing clear communication of the problem </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated verbal communication skills to be effective </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent work in a hot and humid production environment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasional work required outside in various temperatures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>All safety procedures in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Sitting, standing, walking, repetitive use of hands/arms/legs, and eye/hand coordination for up to 12 hours a day. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasional bending, reaching overhead, crouching, balancing, pushing, or pulling </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to access all areas of the plant including confined spaces, the roof, and areas above equipment that require the use of a ladder </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to operate cars, trucks, forklifts, and other powered equipment and tools </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to wear all PPE that is required </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Following all plant Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) as trained, including wearing proper PPE and following safety guidelines </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operating the Bone Dumper machinery, including loading the Dumper and operating the Crane system </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operating Pallet Jacks and Tow Motors as needed, if certified </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting with Pack-Off operations, including understanding the requirements for filling product into various containers and disposing of fat and mash </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Completing necessary paperwork and documentation, must understand all packaging and labeling requirements for products </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for creating and applying product labels </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain quality production by measuring and recording temperatures, monitoring tempered bone temperature, etc </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Support proper sanitation practices by cleaning totes, cleaning the bone station, cleaning baskets, operating the foamer, following species-change procedures, and any required cleaning before, during, and after a batch </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Set-up and operate production and automated packaging equipment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understand all equipment capabilities and production procedures  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain product segregation and lot/batch management </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Follow all associated regulations and procedures, including USDA policies and allergen compliance </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to all safety standards and company policies/procedures </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain clean, organized and safe working environment </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Other relevant duties as assigned and properly trained to complete </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>$20.60/hr. to $24.75/hr.\n<h2>EEO Statement</h2>\n<p>Ajinomoto is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, physical or mental disability, national origin, veteran status or any other basis protected by state, federal, or local law.
