          "text": "<p><strong>Pay:&#xa0;</strong>$29.12 per hour</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Interpret&#xa0;and apply&#xa0;current National Building Codes in making recommendations, relevant changes and or modifications to University buildings or equipment.&#xa0; Capable of checking and understanding other applicable codes relating to residential and commercial applications</li><li>Working knowledge in general layout of plumbing systems for residential and commercial applications.&#xa0; Install, repair, and maintain&#xa0;distribution services for domestic, sanitary and specialized applications, such as laboratories, mechanical equipment, refrigeration, air conditioning, water treatment, etc</li><li>Install, repair, and maintain&#xa0;high and low pressure water&#xa0;and air, including DWC, PVC, Dur-iron, cast copper, and steel, all manner of pumps, mixers, regulators, etc.&#xa0; Skilled in pipe fitting and plumbing, welding, brazing, etc</li><li>Capable of working with low-pressure hot water systems, single and double pipe, gravity and forced air heating systems</li><li>Under authority and direction of the Central Heating Plant Chief (where applicable), repair&#xa0;and maintain&#xa0;various low pressure steam equipment and piping including heat exchangers, PRV’s, steam traps, check valves, control valves, pressure vessels, hot water boilers etc, up to 15 psi</li><li>Perform&#xa0;general mechanical maintenance and repair&#xa0;on various types of equipment</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
