Lauderdale offices of Modjeski and Masters&nbsp;are&nbsp;looking for Experienced Mechanical Engineers, with a valid FL PE to join the Movable Bridge Business Unit</p>\n\n<p>In this role, you will work on complex, high-profile projects that combine mechanical systems with structural ingenuity, ensuring safe and efficient operation of some of the nation&rsquo;s most critical transportation assets.</p>\n\n<p>If you thrive on solving challenging problems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to landmark projects, this is your opportunity to make an impact in a specialized and rewarding field.</p>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></h3>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>A<span style=\"color:#000000\"> minimum of a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"color:#000000\">Registered Professional Engineer, preferably in Florida.</span></li>\n\t<li><span style=\"color:#000000\">Familiarity designing and inspecting movable bridge machinery in accordance with AASHTO and AREMA design standards</span></li>\n</ul>\n\n<hr />\n<h3><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></h3>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Perform mechanical design and detailing of <em>bridge<span style=\"color:#000000\"> machinery</span></em><span style=\"color:#000000\"> </span>and prepare contract plans, specifications, and estimates for <em>movable bridges.</em> This may include hydraulic systems.</li>\n\t<li>Perform field inspection of mechanical systems of<em> movable bridges</em>.
