    "description": "<h2>Role Overview</h2>\n<p>Sodexo is seeking a <strong>Unit Controller 1 </strong>for <strong>Texas Christian University</strong>, located in <strong>Fort Worth, TX</strong>. This position will provide unit finance support for weekly flash projections, forecast updates, period close, and ad hoc reporting.   This is an hourly, in unit position. </p>\n<p>Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Joining us at one of our campus sites enables you to positively influence college students' well-being and create a healthy learning environment.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>ensure integrity of business line internal financial reporting, prepare client income statements and billings</li>\n <li>apply GAAP and objective accounting judgment to knowledge of contractual agreements and company policy </li>\n <li>work in a team environment to ensure department deadlines are met</li>\n <li>work proactively to prevent problems, and identify and implement innovative solutions</li>\n <li>set analysis standards and provide guidance to accountants to maintain strong business relationships  </li>\n <li>maintain company databases as necessary  </li>\n <li>identify and initiate coaching for accountant development. Provide guidance to new accountants</li>\n <li>coach and monitor results for technical development of others </li>\n <li>foster cooperation toward achieving department and organizational goals</li>\n <li>communicate with all levels of the organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p>Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
