This position performs routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and</p><p>troubleshooting on park equipment, attractions, facilities, plumbing, and electrical systems. The</p><p>technician works closely with operations staff to ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable</p><p>experience.</p><p>REPORTS TO: Aquatics and Facilities Manager</p><p>LOCATION: The Elmont&nbsp;</p><p>SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly/ Non-Exempt</p><p><u>DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></p><p>· Perform daily inspections of water slides, pools, pumps, filters, and park equipment.</p><p>· Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.</p><p>· Repair leaks, pumps, motors, valves, lighting, and minor structural issues.</p><p>· Maintain water quality systems and assist with chemical checks when needed.</p><p>· Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.</p><p>· Keep maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas organized and safe.</p><p>· Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures.</p><p>· Complete maintenance logs, inspection reports, and work orders.</p><p>· &nbsp;Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and park policies.</p><p>· &nbsp;Support groundskeeping, painting, cleaning, and general facility upkeep as needed.</p><p><u>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</u></p><p>· High school diploma or GED preferred.</p><p>· Experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, or mechanical repair</p><p>preferred.</p><p>· Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.</p><p>· Ability to use hand and power tools safely.</p><p>· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</p><p>· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.</p><p>· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.</p><p>· Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.</p><p><u>PREFERRED SKILLS:&nbsp;</u></p><p>· Pool or aquatic facility maintenance experience.</p><p>· Knowledge of water filtration and pump systems.</p><p>· Certification in pool operations or maintenance is a plus.</p><p>· Good communication and teamwork skills.</p><p><u>WORKING CONDITIONS:</u></p><p>· Work is typically performed in the resort in confined space work. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of physical labor such as standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs. Outdoor waterpark setting with exposure to heat, humidity, water, and chemicals. Fast-paced environment during peak season.</p>",
