Those charged with protecting the United States often face challenges in accessing the evidence needed to prosecute crime and prevent terrorism. This role directly supports that mission by delivering secure, scalable, and efficient software solutions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, test, and develop well-structured, efficient, and testable web-based software using Java Angular, Postgres and related technologies.</li>\n <li>Translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional applications, ensuring reliability through ongoing maintenance, testing, and documentation.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with customers and technical teams to translate requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories for both functional and non-functional needs.</li>\n <li>Support Agile teams in backlog planning, work item refinement, and story point estimation.</li>\n <li>Apply industry-standard design patterns and best practices to software solutions.</li>\n <li>Implement secure coding standards to safeguard applications and data.</li>\n <li>Develop automated unit and integration tests to support CI/CD pipelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum requirements: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors degree. OR minimum 4 years in lieu of the Bachelors degree.</li>\n <li>Experience with using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps deployments.</li>\n <li>Experience with Object Oriented language</li>\n <li>Experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL database technologies.</li>\n <li>U.S. citizenship required.</li>\n <li><strong>A current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
