This role will play an important part in supporting the launch and ongoing development of our new corporate website.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Working closely with our marketing team, the successful candidate will assist with front-end website development, content implementation, design enhancements, testing, and optimization to help deliver a modern, user-friendly digital experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing studies in Web Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interactive Media, or a related field to gain hands-on experience working on a large-scale website project.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Responsibilities </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support the development, maintenance, and launch of the company's enhanced website.</span></li>\n<li>Build and update website pages using WordPress and the Divi theme builder.</li>\n<li>Develop and implement responsive front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.</li>\n<li>Assist with website styling, layout enhancements, and user experience improvements.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement website content, images, forms, and other digital assets.</li>\n<li>Perform website testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance across multiple browsers and devices.</li>\n<li>Identify and resolve front-end bugs and performance issues.</li>\n<li>Support website optimization initiatives, including page speed improvements and accessibility compliance.</li>\n<li>Assist with ongoing website updates and enhancements following launch.</li>\n<li>Document development work and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualification Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Web Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or recently graduated and looking for a short-term opportunity to enhance skillset.</li>\n<li>Experience working with WordPress websites.</li>\n<li>Experience using the Divi theme builder.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.</li>\n<li>Experience with React and modern front-end development practices.</li>\n<li>Understanding of responsive web design principles.</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Here’s What You’ll Love</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment where your contributions are valued.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience working with a growing company on a variety of exciting projects.</li>\n<li>Opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and receive mentorship from industry leaders.</li>\n<li>Exposure to industry-leading tools, software, and technologies.</li>\n<li>The chance to gain meaningful experience and make an impact from day one.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The hiring range for this position is $20.00–$24.00 CAD per hour.
