This position provides day-to-day leadership of nursing services, oversees nursing operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters a culture of accountability, teamwork, and clinical excellence.</p>\n<p>The Nurse Manager works closely with facility leadership, medical providers, clinicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient experiences and treatment outcomes.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Nursing Leadership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, and support for nursing staff.</li>\n<li>Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate nursing coverage.</li>\n<li>Conduct competency assessments, coaching, and performance evaluations.</li>\n<li>Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of nursing personnel.</li>\n<li>Promote a positive, mission-driven culture aligned with organizational values.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Clinical Care &amp; Treatment Services</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.</li>\n<li>Assess patient needs and identify high-risk indicators requiring intervention.</li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate nursing assessments, documentation, and care planning.</li>\n<li>Support treatment planning and discharge planning processes.</li>\n<li>Provide direct clinical assessment and intervention services as needed.</li>\n<li>Serve as a liaison between patients, families, providers, and community resources.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Compliance &amp; Quality Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, accreditation, and organizational requirements.</li>\n<li>Oversee medication administration processes and Medication Administration Records (MARs).</li>\n<li>Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.</li>\n<li>Support Joint Commission readiness and regulatory survey preparedness.</li>\n<li>Participate in audits, incident reviews, and corrective action planning.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Operational Excellence</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain nursing workflows based on best practices and evidence-based care.</li>\n<li>Monitor infection prevention and control practices.</li>\n<li>Support facility leadership in achieving operational, quality, and patient care goals.</li>\n<li>Assist with policy implementation and process improvement initiatives.</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Education</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.</li>\n<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Licensure &amp; Certifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active West Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.</li>\n<li>Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, psychiatric care, residential treatment, or a related healthcare setting.</li>\n<li>Previous leadership, charge nurse, supervisory, or management experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Experience with medication administration and clinical documentation requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in detoxification and residential substance use disorder treatment programs.</li>\n<li>Experience with Joint Commission, CARF, or other healthcare accreditation standards.</li>\n<li>Experience with staff scheduling and workforce management.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.</li>\n<li>Human Resources or employee management experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Work Environment</span></p>\n<p>This position operates within a residential behavioral health treatment environment serving individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
