    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintenance Worker - Full time with benefits</span></strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(41, 105, 176);\">Campbell County is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team. The shift is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. This position offers full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life Insurance along with Virginia State&#39;s Retirement Plan (VRS). &nbsp;Campbell County has a generous Vacation and Leave Plan including Holidays, Personal Days, Floating Holidays and Community Service Leave to use.</span></strong></em></p><p><em><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(41, 105, 176);\">Position will be open till filled.</span></strong></em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Makes a daily difference in the Campbell County organization and locality through: hard work, open and honest communication, ongoing improvement and accountability.&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Performs with excellence, the following tasks, including but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Performs or assists with routine maintenance of buildings and grounds such as: &nbsp; Painting, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, window/building washing, replacing locks, repairing and/or replacing sidewalks, patching and repairing roofs, basic carpentry etc.;</li><li>Moves equipment, supplies, and furniture as requested;</li><li>Cuts grass, weed eats, prunes bushes, and rakes leaves, as required;</li><li>Shovels and pushes snow and applies chemicals to walkways as necessary;</li><li>Replaces light bulbs as necessary;</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned or required</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>One year of related experience</li><li>Valid Virginia Driver&rsquo;s License and insurable under County&rsquo;s Policy.</li><li>Requires completion of National Incident Management System IS-700 and IS-100 within 90 days of employment.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Core Skill Sets:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of basic safety as it relates to buildings and grounds maintenance;</li><li>Ability to safely operate power equipment such as: string trimmer, chain saw, push mower;</li><li>Basic working knowledge of hand and power tools;</li><li>Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time;</li><li>Basic understanding and ability to utilize the county&rsquo;s adopted software platform.</li></ul><p>General Service Areas/Conditions: &nbsp;Work is performed both indoors and outdoors where uncomfortable conditions exist.
