This is an unpaid internship/volunteer opportunity.</p><p><span>Help shape Felix Magazine by contributing to each issue. The Advisory Board solicits and writes articles for the luxury charity publication, suggests content, and helps shape the editorial and design direction of the magazine. The board also works closely with the designer and editor of the magazine to create content, which is useful and interesting to Felix Magazine reader demographics.</span><br /></p><p><span>• Reports to the Board Liaison</span><br /></p><p><span>• Advise the Editor (who is Chair of the Advisory Board) on the editorial direction of the magazine</span><br /></p><p><span>• Develop themes and topics for articles</span><br /></p><p><span>• Suggest content for each publication</span><br /></p><p><span>• Can write articles or assist the Editor to compile articles for publication from other sources</span><br /></p><p><span>• Help with the story budget at least two issues in advance</span><br /></p><p><span>• Critique each issue after completion</span><br /></p>",

          "text": "<p>Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English or related field required; preferably in an agricultural-related area with magazine or newspaper writing experience.</p><p>Prefer minimum of three years of publication experience in areas of writing, editing, proofreading, layout, rewriting, and production; farm background or experience a plus.</p><p>Experience in digital applications preferred including HTML, Pisces and SEO.</p><p>Excellent organizational and planning skills, with ability to multi-task.</p><p>Creative, visually oriented person with strong grammar, writing and photography skills.</p><p>Familiarity with publication layout and production procedures.</p><p>Strong interviewing skills, as well as verbal and written expression skills.</p><p>Good background and knowledge in digital communications with exposure to digital and social networking technologies. (Facebook, Twitter, web videos, SEO, blogging, You Tube, etc.).</p>",
