Salary: USD 82,000–110,000 Description ·         Setting up and configuring Linux servers and workstations. ·         Continuously monitoring system performance, applying updates, and performing backups. ·         Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect systems and data. ·         Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control. ·         Identifying and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. ·         Maintaining accurate and up to date documentation of system configurations and procedures. ·         Working with other IT staff to support and enhance the overall IT infrastructure. Requirements ·         Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and the command line interface (CLI). ·         Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and system management. ·         Hands on experience with Kubernetes ·         Understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and services. ·         Apply security best practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection, and access control. ·         Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or KVM. ·         Knowledge of storage technologies (RAID, SAN, NAS). ·        Ability to use tools to monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
