CIPC is a non-partisan, non-profit statewide organization engaging in advocacy, organizing, and strategic communications to uplift immigrant communities. CIPC was founded in response to the 1996 passage of federal immigrant and welfare laws that profoundly affected immigrants. This position will be based in Fresno with travel to our other offices and locations as necessary.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; text-decoration: underline\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Lead coordination and maintenance of relationships with CIPC’s Regional Organizing Cohort subgrantees, including the development of meeting agendas, facilitation of calls, and the planning and executing of convenings as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Represent CIPC in local, regional, and state immigrant rights and budget coalitions and lead aspects of coalition work;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Lead and support networks of base-building community groups and immigrant-serving organizations to organize and mobilize around immigrant-related policy and budget issues;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Assist local partners in developing new regional networks in burgeoning areas;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Develop new relationships with diverse community stakeholders and convene meetings and conference calls to promote communication and partnership;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Proactively engage with partners to assess needs;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Proactively establish and deepen relationships with partners;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Grow CIPC’s organizational membership;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Play a strong supporting role in organizing CIPC’s annual Immigrant Day of Action in Sacramento and other organization-wide events;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Stay informed about key political, economic, and social issues impacting immigrant communities;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Carry out power mapping and strategy development;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Engage in research and collecting data and information about the real-life impact of  existing and proposed policies; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Develop and collect materials for outreach and the political education of member organizations;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Provide support for and provides trainings and technical assistance to member organizations, community-based organizations, and other partners on various issues across the state; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Work closely with other CIPC departments, including Movement Building, Policy, Communications, and Government Affairs, to achieve programmatic goals; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Use organizing tools to engage people, promote events, and build narrative power in person and digitally;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Support fundraising efforts led by the development team and manage a portfolio of sponsorships and memberships in support of organizational fundraising;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; text-decoration: underline\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Minimum of 2 years experience in effective organizing and coalition building in a social justice sector, such as  immigrant justice, health access, racial justice, climate justice, gender/LGBTQ+ justice, and/or economic justice;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">A demonstrated ability to lead and engage broad coalitions; </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Experience working with diverse communities and audiences;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Experiences with relational one-to-one community organizing </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Ability to navigate interpersonal and organizational dynamics with emotional intelligence;  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;
