    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>The College seeks to build a pool of qualified applicants to teach CINE 105 Film Appreciation. CINE 105 provides students with a foundational understanding of film theory, history, and filmmaking techniques.   This is a non-production, theoretical course.  The ideal candidate will possess expertise in film studies, effective communication skills, commitment to student success and the ability to foster an inclusive and interactive learning environment. \n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Deliver engaging lectures that cover film history, theory, and analysis.</li>\n <li>Facilitate discussions to aide in understanding of course concepts.</li>\n <li>Assign and grade writing assignments and exams to assess student understanding.</li>\n <li>Provide timely and constructive feedback and support to help students succeed academically.</li>\n <li>Cultivate an inclusive classroom environment that values diverse perspectives and promotes respectful dialogue. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Education/Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in Film Studies, Media Studies, Communication, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Prior teaching experience, especially at the college level, is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications & Special Considerations:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong need for daytime classes, limited evening sessions available.
