As part of our dynamic team, you can lead the way, as we continue our journey towards high reliability care!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We currently have an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Registered Technologist, CT</strong> to join our <strong>Medical Imaging </strong>team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Employment Status: </strong>Permanent Part Time<strong>Reporting Relationship: </strong>Manager, Medical Imaging</p>\n<p><strong>Hours of work:</strong> 8 hour rotating shifts on weekdays, evenings, nights and/or weekends - subject to change as per Article HRH 2 – Management Rights</p>\n<p><strong>Employee Group:</strong> OPSEU 577</p>\n<p><strong>Hiring Range:</strong> $36.84 - $50.24</p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Hennick Humber Hospital- Wilson Site</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform all CT procedures as per determined department protocols or as directed by the Radiologist</li>\n <li>Ability to operate all types of equipment used within the departments, including CT scanner, Contrast Injectors, etc</li>\n <li>Prepare and assess patients for CT scan including obtaining contrast consent, confirming exam validity, sterile technique practices and resourcing Radiologist as is necessary</li>\n <li>Complete exam process by image review, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACS</li>\n <li>Knowledge of and dutifully follows radiation safety practices for the protection of the patient, colleagues and their own occupational dose</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be registered and in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)</li>\n <li>Registration with the CAMRT preferred</li>\n <li>CT certificate preferred</li>\n <li>Previous experience in CT preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Must be IV certified.  </li>\n <li>Excellent attendance and discipline free record required. </li>\n <li>An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
