The engineer will work closely with data scientists and end users to develop analytic tools that support discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges and operationalize data science within customer environments.</p><hr><h2><strong>Key Duties</strong></h2><p>• Work directly with data scientists and mission analysts to solve complex strategic problems<br>• Perform end‑to‑end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy analytic tools<br>• Integrate tools and tradecraft into customer corporate architectures<br>• Support the operationalization of data science solutions at scale</p><hr><h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2><p>• Bachelor’s degree with eleven (11) years of relevant experience, or equivalent<br>• Strong experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Java MapReduce, and Python PySpark<br>• Strong experience with statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals<br>• Strong experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and big‑data environments<br>• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab<br>• Experience working in Agile development environments<br>• Experience with end‑to‑end software development processes (requirements, design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance)<br>• Experience with data science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Large Language Models (LLMs)<br>• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph</p><hr><h2><strong>Compensation</strong></h2><p>• Salary range: $155,000 – $175,000<br>• Benefits</p><p>Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
