You will be a part of a team with a passion for creating great software and where you will have ownership over a part of each release.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using best practices in software development, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.<br></li>\n<li>Collaborate with the team in the design, development, and implementation of new and existing software solutions.<br>Analyse and troubleshoot complex application issues, providing technical support and guidance to junior developers.<br></li>\n<li>Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.<br>Stay updated on current industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our software development processes.<br></li>\n<li>Contribute to project planning and estimation, providing input on technical feasibility and resource requirements.<br></li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc in Computer Science, or related<br></li>\n<li>At least 3 years’ experience in Java development, including experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Java EE.</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural principles.</li>\n<li>Practical experience in microservices architecture and containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB).</li>\n<li>Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is a plus.</li>\n<li>Experience with GIT software version control systems.</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team.</li>\n<li>Proven track record of delivering high-quality software applications.</li>\n<li>Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).</li>\n<li>Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) is highly desirable.</li>\n<li>Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory background checks.</span></em></p>",
