This position requires <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">open availability and flexibility</span> to work shifts at both <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Canyon Bar &amp; Grill</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">River Restaurant </span><em>(located on Cedar Lodge and Yosemite View Lodge outside of Yosemite National Park)</em>, with the greatest need being <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Thursday through Sunday</span>, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.  <span>This is an </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>evening position</span></span><span> with shifts generally beginning between </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>4:00 PM and 5:00 PM</span></span><span> and ending at close, typically around </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>10:00 PM</span></span><span>.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you enjoy creating exceptional guest experiences, working in a fast-paced environment, and being part of a supportive team, we encourage you to apply.</p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Position Summary</span></span><br></p>\n<p>The Bartender is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and California ABC regulations. This position may be scheduled at either Canyon Bar &amp; Grill or River Restaurant based on business needs.</p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.</li>\n<li>Provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service to all guests.</li>\n<li>Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all California alcohol service laws and company policies.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.</li>\n<li>Process guest orders and payments accurately through the POS system.</li>\n<li>Monitor guest alcohol consumption and refuse service when appropriate in accordance with responsible beverage service practices.</li>\n<li>Prepare garnishes, mixers, and other bar supplies as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist servers and restaurant staff with beverage service during peak periods.</li>\n<li>Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.</li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness standards for bar equipment, glassware, and work areas.</li>\n<li>Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure smooth operations.</li>\n<li>Support both Canyon Bar &amp; Grill and River Restaurant locations as scheduling needs require.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous bartending experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.</li>\n<li>Open availability, especially Thursday through Sunday.</li>\n<li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Must possess or be able to obtain all required California food and alcohol service certifications.</li>\n<li>Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Why Join Us?</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Keep your days free while working evening shifts</span></li>\n<li><span>Earn hourly pay plus tips</span></li>\n<li><span>Work in two unique restaurant environments serving locals and visitors from around the world</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">To Apply:</span> Submit your application and resume to El Portal Dining, Inc.
