It’s an opportunity to grow your skills and experience as a valued member of the team.</p><p></p><p><b>Make your mark in Trade Credit</b></p><p><span>AIG’s Credit Lines (Trade Credit, Trade Finance, and Political Risk) help Corporates (medium and large companies), from a wide variety of industry sectors and Financial Institutions, navigate the complexities of local and global business practices by offering non-payment credit insurance solutions.</span></p><p></p><p><b>How you will create an impact</b></p><p><span>We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Officerto join our Credit Risk Team in London. This position is suited for professionals with a solid grounding in Political Risk credit analysis and financial assessment You will contribute to evaluating buyer risks, supporting underwriting decisions, and helping maintain a high-quality credit portfolio.</span></p><p></p><p><span>Responsibilities:</span></p><p></p><p><b>Credit Analysis</b></p><ul><li>Perform annual credit reviews and ORR (grade) recommendations for Structured Credit and Project Finance obligors within the PRG UK portfolio</li><li>Provide credit analysis across transactions of various Political Risk products and Trade Finance and contribute towards deal memos regarding Credit Risk.</li><li>Establish limits on appetite as per obligor group to support specific transactions and provide general capacity</li><li>Execute approvals based on own authority to be delegated or present review results to internal authority holders.</li><li>Perform obligor visits/calls as needed and participate on market presentations for Investors/Analysts.</li><li>Participate on internal presentations of transactions covering Credit risk of obligor.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Portfolio Management</b></p><ul><li>Ensure ORR coverage for all Buyer names in the assigned portfolio of Buyer groups.</li><li>Ensure ORR aging is within Credit Lines and AIG Credit Policy Guidelines.</li><li>Ensure max exposure limits are in place and in date for all obligor groups assigned to the managed portfolio</li><li>Ensure all approvals and related supporting materials are documented and saved within the appropriate credit management systems</li><li>Respond to ad-hoc exposure inquiries from Credit Lines or Enterprise Risk management.</li><li>Respond to UW ad-hoc requests for credit appetite to specific renewals and/or new business opportunities in a time efficient manner.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Team Collaboration</b></p><ul><li>Collaboration with the Heads of the Credit Lines business to support achievement of Credit Lines business objectives.</li><li>Collaboration with PRG &amp; TF Underwriters regarding PRG UK Portfolio obligors to obtain information required for the assessment</li><li>Collaboration with PRG &amp; TF Underwriters regarding Structured Transactions</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll need to succeed</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 10 years’ credit risk and transaction analysis experience developed within a leading bank, trade credit or equivalent organisation.</li><li>Experience of using different market leading credit risk analysis techniques and tools</li><li>Understanding of Credit Lines products and their respective credit risk drivers and mitigants</li><li>Strong communication skills, written and oral, presentations</li><li>Organisational skills and project management</li><li>Ability to manage time pressure, deadlines and competing tasks/ prioritise on behalf of the credit officer team</li><li>Ability to handle a varied workload in a diverse and growing portfolio.</li><li>Proven decision making skills</li><li>Interpersonal skills - team player with internal and external stakeholders/ clients</li><li>Multiple Languages helpful, ability to engage with diverse, global teams</li><li>Willingness to travel regionally is desirable</li><li>Business acumen</li><li>Ability to work in a changing environment</li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-AIG</p><p></p><p></p><p><span>At AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask </span><span>our team members to be primarily in the office.
