This positions will be tasked with troubleshooting, routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on natural gas engines and compressors. Caterpillar 3500/3600 experience preferred. </span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\"> </span></em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:  </span></span><em><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">may include any or all the following. </span></em><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Perform scheduled preventive and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression units.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Always represent the Company in a professional manner and provide outstanding customer service while performing all assigned tasks.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Responsible for submitting accurate maintenance reports, expense reports, timesheets, and other necessary paperwork daily.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Inventory control – manages the supply, storage, and accessibility of parts as well as tools to ensure an adequate supply to do the work without excessive oversupply or shrinkage.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Conduct timely rebuilds/overhauls of compressors, engines, and controls on gas compressor packages in the shop.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Respond to recurring problems and emergency services, as needed.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Help coordinate setting of new units and conduct start-up testing.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Other duties may include mechanical as well as electrical assignments regarding natural gas compressor systems and their appliances.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\"> POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY STATEMENTS):</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Proven knowledge of machines and tools, materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of compression units.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently with little or no supervision.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Proven ability to write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639; font-size: 15px\">Demonstrated ability to provide personal customer service and satisfaction.  This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"color: #2f3639;
