Caregiving as a career: Growth and development opportunities are awarded to support our team in achieving your professional goals and dreams<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities And Duties<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nursing tasks include – medication administration, wound care, head to toe assessment, vitals signs, pain assessment, liaising with physicians, diabetic management.</li>\n<li>Happier Aging is at the heart of what we do – enabling seniors to live at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.</li>\n<li>Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer</li>\n<li>Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly</li>\n<li>Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.</li>\n<li>Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.</li>\n<li>Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description</li>\n<li>Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly</li>\n<li>Service within the city of Missisauga<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements<br><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous nursing experience is an asset.</li>\n<li>Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed</li>\n<li>Valid CNO license</li>\n<li>Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset</li>\n<li>Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (updated every 5 years for continued employment)</li>\n<li>Negative TB Screen (updated every 5 years for continued employment)</li>\n<li>Covid – 19 Vaccination Confirmation or medical exemption letter</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license is required<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Nurse Next Door is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
