The facility offers a full complement of services, including emergency care, cardiovascular care, bariatrics, orthopedics and rehabilitation, and surgical services. It also is one of the largest providers of psychiatric care in the state. The hospital has earned Primary Stroke Center certification from The Joint Commission, and its bariatric program has been accredited as a Comprehensive Center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). The Women’s Medical Center provides comprehensive women’s services through all stages of life, including gynecologic surgery, maternity care, and labor and delivery services. We begin your benefits on day one and offer flexibility wherever possible, so that you can be present for your passions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital offers great, new competitive pay and a great benefits package, which includes: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental, Vision</li>\n <li>403(b) Retirement Svings Plan</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off (Up to 5 weeks accured)</li>\n <li>Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Extended Leave Plan (ELP)</li>\n <li>Family Care (child care, elder care, pet care)</li>\n <li>Paid Parental Leave</li>\n <li>Pet Insurance </li>\n <li>Car Insurance </li>\n <li>Educational benefits including tuition reimbursement & student loan assistance </li>\n <li>All benefits start day one</li>\n</ul>\n<p>At Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital the Associate Clinical Engineer Technician Ensures diagnostic/therapeutic or electronics equipment meets manufacturer’s specifications for safe and proper use by the performance of routine safety inspections, scheduled maintenance (SM), calibrations, repairs, updates, etc. of assigned equipment. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Utilizes available service literature and other pertinent resources for completing repairs, PM’s, software/hardware upgrades/enhancements and other support needs as required by regulatory agencies and device manufacturers. • Monitors rental and other non-hospital owned devices for compliance with corporate safety policies. • Assists the Clinical Engineering/IT Operations team in effectively supporting and maintaining mission critical medical/electronic equipment and IT systems and networks. • Completes all repairs, PM’s and other support activity documentation in order to comply with the standards of the FDA, The Joint Commission and other regulatory and accrediting agencies and to fulfill departmental requirements. • Communicates information regarding repair status of assigned equipment to CE Supervisor and appropriate personnel in the using department. • Receives entry level training and exposure on the repair and maintenance of medical or electronic equipment systems and accessories, as well as other supporting hardware to include computers, networks, databases and other types of IT systems and associated medical or electronic device software. • Assists with the coordination of integrating supported devices and systems to the hospital IT systems and networks. • May have limited access to areas storing medications in order to maintain and support assigned equipment. • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</p>\n<p>• Performs incoming inspections on new equipment as assigned. • Practices efficient use of supplies and reports inventory deficiencies to supervisor. • Demonstrates entry level ability to organize work priorities with supervisory oversight. • Provides excellent customer service with good communication and follow up skills. • Shows a willingness to learn new areas and take on more responsibility. • Able to work both as part of a team and independently when assigned. • Maintains compliance with HIPPA guidelines. • Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area. • Demonstrates knowledge of legal issues, The Joint Commission requirements and compliance along with the standards of other regulatory and accrediting agencies. • Independently serve periods of on-call coverage at scheduled intervals. • May be required to support unplanned events during after-hours and weekends.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Training</strong> - Associate’s degree in a technical area of study required.</p>\n<p>- High School Diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Associate’s degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong> - None</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<p>- None</p>",
