This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources. We are also advancing permitting on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada.<br>More recently, we’ve entered into an agreement with Newmont Corporation to acquire the Musselwhite Mine, located in Northern Ontario on Lake Opapimiskan. This project has great potential in a tier-one mining jurisdiction, and with more than 25 years of proven track record. This fly-in, fly-out operation will position Orla to double its annual gold production and provide us with excellent future opportunities. We expect this transaction to close in Q1 2025.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Purpose:</span><br>As part of our acquisition of Musselwhite Mine, we are recruiting for a Development Miner. This role will be based on-site and will be responsible to ensure processing and production targets and schedules are met as forecast. This role will report to the Development Supervisor and will be key to the success of the Mine Department.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities include:</span><br>• Lead the Underground Development team.<br>• Assist and/or relieve Jumbo Operators in the operation of mechanized scaling, ground support installation and efficient face drilling practices.<br>• Drill, load and blast explosives round with Jumbo.<br>• Able to read, understand and interpret ground support evaluations (GSE), development plans and related engineering direction.<br>• Carry out and complete mucking cycles with 9 &amp; 10yrd Scooptrams.<br>• Demonstrate work is carried out safely and efficiently.<br>• Excellent housekeeping skills.<br>• Other activities and duties as assigned.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills and Experience:</span><br>• Minimum of Grade 11 education or higher with excellent communication skills.<br>• UG Common Core Certification.<br>• Certification to operate a Jumbo drill for mechanized scaling, ground support installation and face drilling, Scooptrams, Scissor Lift, Anfo Loader and other Development equipment.<br>• Minimum of 5 years underground experience and the ability to safely and proficiently demonstrate the duties required for the job.<br>• Ability to work safely with excellent housekeeping skills.<br>• Ability to take direction from supervision.<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span><br>• The schedule is 14/14, working 12-hour days</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The base salary range for this position is CAD$126,676 - $143,939 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.</li>\n<li>The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
