You will support and improve maintenance operations by becoming the technical expert on all the production equipment for your site. Unleashing Your Potential </li>\n <li>Competitive Compensation, Health Benefits, & a generous flexible medical / Health spending account</li>\n <li>RRSP matching program</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement</li>\n <li>Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads by example & fosters an environment of mutual respect & team work among Team Members.</li>\n <li>Be a “hands-on” leader and work very closely with all operations departments to provide immediate, timely support in order to ensure operational targets are met.</li>\n <li>Train; coach; guide and mentor existing, as well as new shift mechanics.</li>\n <li>Ensure that troubleshooting and repair is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Complete maintenance related projects as required.</li>\n <li>Insure that Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs are executed as scheduled.</li>\n <li>Recommend additional training for shift mechanics as needed.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Maintenance Coordinator to ensure supplies of required tools, parts and labor are available for timely repairs.</li>\n <li>Promote and support Continuous Improvement activities in Manufacturing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Required Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed Millwright 433A and or Electrician 442A preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment Must be a demonstrated leader who interacts with others and is adept at leading/motivating a team to meet schedule demands.</li>\n <li>Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, along with simple mathematical abilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage difficult people.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Flexible to work days, afternoons, nights & weekends if needed.</li>\n <li>Experienced with maintenance systems and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li>\n <li>Passionate about mechanical repair.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</strong><strong><u></u></strong><u></u>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
