    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Kinetic Design + Development is looking for an Interior Designer II to join the Krew.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>If you’re an interior designer who thrives in both the creative and technical sides of the process,<em> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">this role is for you</span></em>.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In this role, you’ll take ownership of interior design scope across a variety of commercial projects, helping bring spaces to life from early concepts through construction. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and consultants while producing thoughtful, buildable design solutions that balance creativity, functionality, and technical precision. This is a hands-on role where your ideas matter and your ability to execute them is just as important.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You’ll also play a key part in shaping the next generation of designers, mentoring junior team members while continuing to grow your own skills in a fast-moving, supportive environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who You Are</span><br>You’re a thoughtful designer who knows how to balance big-picture ideas with detailed execution. Most importantly, you care about creating spaces that make an impact for the people who use them.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop interior design concepts and carry them through construction with clarity and intent</li>\n<li>Produce and manage coordinated drawing sets including plans, RCPs, elevations, details, and schedules</li>\n<li>Create space plans, finish palettes, and FF&amp;E selections with minimal oversight</li>\n<li>Ensure documentation is accurate, code-compliant, and aligned with project goals</li>\n<li>Collaborate with architects, consultants, and vendors to deliver integrated design solutions</li>\n<li>Review RFIs, submittals, and conduct site observations during construction administration</li>\n<li>Identify and help resolve coordination issues proactively</li>\n<li>Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design ideas</li>\n<li>Mentor Interns and Designer I team members, supporting their growth and reviewing work for quality</li>\n<li>Conduct site visits and apply real-world insights to design decisions</li>\n<li>Stay current with building codes, materials, and industry best practices</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Tools You’ll Use</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Revit, AutoCAD</li>\n<li>Bluebeam</li>\n<li>Adobe Creative Suite</li>\n<li>Rendering tools such as D5</li>\n<li>Microsoft Office or similar tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture</li>\n<li>4 to 7 years of experience, preferably in commercial interior design within an architectural setting</li>\n<li>NCIDQ certification achieved or in progress</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the full design process from concept through construction</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of building systems, materials, codes, and life safety requirements</li>\n<li>Ability to independently develop and document design solutions</li>\n<li>Strong communication, organization, and time management skills</li>\n<li>A collaborative mindset with a willingness to mentor and support others</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join the Krew:</span><br>Our Vision:<br>Kinetic Design + Development is pushing the limits of traditional architectural practice.
