We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. • Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team of experts and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Technical/Clinical </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develops and maintains policy and procedure manual</li>\n <li>Assists manager in the selection of new employees</li>\n <li>Assists manager with the annual evaluation of employees</li>\n <li>Performs staff orientation, education and competency evaluation</li>\n <li>Assists in the decision-making process of new technology/equipment</li>\n <li>Identifies equipment service issues and works with manager to resolve quickly and efficiently</li>\n <li>Serves as a subject matter expert in Computed Tomography.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates competency in all mammography and Bone Density exams/ procedures</li>\n <li>Works closely with the CT Medical Director to ensure proper protocols are adhered to.</li>\n <li>Resource and communication liaison for technologists, lead staff, Radiologist and manager for daily operational concerns and staffing needs.</li>\n <li>Assists in maintaining ACR accreditation</li>\n <li>Use ALARA and Dose Reducing techniques in protocols for CT exams when possible.</li>\n <li>Documents appropriately in the patient record</li>\n <li>Responsible for assisting the manager in approval of absences (PTO Approval system) and corrections to Kronos timeclock system for the staff in your area. Managers responsible for the final approval of Kronos. </li>\n <li>Responsible for creating and maintaining staff schedule utilizing the Radiology schedule template.</li>\n <li>Require schedules a minimum of 4 weeks prior to scheduled shifts.  Lead understands and is accountable to assuring staffing needs meet patient care demands.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education: </strong>Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with equivalent training and experience as required by the licensing bodies.  </p>\n<p><strong>Experience: </strong>2-3 years experience in CT</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s): </strong>ARRT (R) (CT), Iowa (IDPH) and Illinois (IEMA) Licenses</p>\n<p> CPR</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</strong> Accountability, Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication – written & verbal, Decision making, Flexibility, Customer/patient focused, Interpersonal skills, Independent Judgment & Decision Making, Managing priorities/deadlines, Planning and organizing skills, Problem-solving and analytical ability, Professionalism, Relationship management, Self-Development, Teamwork, Technical Aptitude – ability to learn new systems quickly.</p>\n<p><strong>Other:</strong> Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.</p>\n<p><em>*Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
