Plus, you'll join a team of friendly co-workers who bring a mix of backgrounds and experiences, making this part-time job something really special and rewarding. </p>\n<p></p>\n<p>As a part-time, <strong>Weekend Outlet Associate / Sales Floor & Product Handler</strong>, you take pride in crafting exceptional experiences for our customers and consider it a privilege to help support their selection across a diverse range of high-quality home furnishing products. While you thrive in independently assisting customers, you also appreciate the synergy of teamwork. Your dynamic approach allows you to tackle a fast-paced environment, where you spend a portion of your time on your feet, actively moving and arranging products on the showroom floor, and the rest of your time providing support to customers on the floor.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Saturdays from 9:30AM to 4:30PM & Sundays from 10:30AM to 4:30PM (average of 5 weekend shifts per month) </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> 4600 Olson Memorial, Golden Valley, MN (Hwy 100 & 55)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Explore the video below to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere that defines the energy of working as a weekend Outlet Associate. Each weekend, our devoted customers eagerly line up, filled with excitement and anticipation, as they seek out timeless pieces to enhance and complete their homes.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>As a part-time weekend Outlet Associate in our outlet, you’ll be responsible for:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively looking for ways to answer questions, offer solutions, and engage with customers</li>\n <li>Processing sales orders using a computer system that maintains customer and sales information</li>\n <li>Moving and placing furniture/product to and from the showroom floor</li>\n <li>Using tools to move all furniture</li>\n <li>Wrapping upholstery for delivery</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>The qualities you’ll bring to be successful as a part-time weekend Outlet Associate :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High level of professionalism and a passion to represent our brand</li>\n <li>Desire to focus on serving the customer with agility, confidence, and enthusiasm</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>You'll also bring the following skills and requirements as a part-time weekend Outlet Associate :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in a physical-natured role with the need to move furniture, including heavy/bulky items using furniture moving equipment and a partner as needed</li>\n <li>Placing and re-arranging product onto the showroom floor</li>\n <li>Ability to think quickly in order to efficiently process sales</li>\n <li>Comfortable leveraging technology to support our customers</li>\n <li>Previous retail sales experience is preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements for the weekend Outlet Associate role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to consistently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories, while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you'll find working here as a weekend Outlet Associate:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Salary: $18 / hour</li>\n <li>We offer a refreshing approach to retail combined with a culture that is truly special</li>\n <li>Free access to our Wellness & Fitness Center (just steps away from the Outlet)</li>\n <li>Up to a 4% 401(k) match when we meet our financial goals</li>\n <li>Generous discount on our products </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Application Deadline: The position will remain open until filled; there is no specified deadline.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Room & Board is a modern furniture and home decor retailer committed to creating beautiful, well-made products while providing exceptional customer service.
