High school graduate preferred.</p><p>2. Cashier experience.</p><p>3. Customer service.</p><p>4. Knowledge of resort.</p><p>5. Ability to work with guests in all areas, with a positive approach.</p><p>6. Ability to concentrate on detail and follow-up work while maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.</p><p>7. Ability to work as a team.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Purpose:</strong></p><p>Service customers fuel needs and ensure safe practices are followed. Receive funds for goods and services and records transactions via cash register.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Major Duties:</strong></p><ol><li>Always operate with an emphasis on guest hospitality&nbsp;</li><li>Process cash or credit for payments</li><li>Accurately count back change.</li><li>Processes refunds, credits, and paperwork as necessary.</li><li>Manage rental reservation returns and deposits.</li><li>Be mindful of inventory levels and stock shelves as needed.</li><li>Keep the store and cashier booth clean and tidy by using the &ldquo;clean as you go&rdquo; method.</li><li>Enter inventory information into the POS system.</li><li>Be knowledgeable about merchandise and products.</li><li>Ensure garbage from boats and work area is properly disposed.</li><li>Opening readings of fuel pumps.</li><li>Opening and closing inspections of marina</li><li>Pump fuel, propane, and sewage pump out&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect fuel lines for leaks.</li><li>Assist with turning off and relighting pilot lights</li><li>Conduct dye test of sewage lines on a daily basis.</li><li>Inspect fuel and sewage lines for leaks on a daily basis.</li><li>Conduct accurate fuel readings both opening and closing.&nbsp;</li><li>Fire extinguisher inspections.</li><li>Monitor traffic of watercraft at fuel area to ensure that boats are parked properly to ensure safe mobility in marina area.</li><li>Manage multidepartment dispatches for maintenance</li><li>Report medical emergencies to managers.</li><li>Safely handle chemicals and fuel products to prevent potential hazards.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure customers observe safety precautions when refueling boats.</li><li>Operate equipment with energy conservation in mind.</li><li>Adhere to safety policies.</li></ol><p><strong>General:</strong></p><p>1. Be aware of daily activities and events at the resort.</p><p>2. Be knowledgeable of all resort operations.</p><p>3. Perform all reasonable job requests assigned by General Manager.</p><p>4. Material handling: stooping, bending, lifting an average of 30 pounds will be part of some job requirements.</p><p>5. Be present at all departmental, resort and training meetings.</p><p>6. Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (both within the department and in other resort departments).</p><p>7.
