This leader will assist our Pastor in the missionary transformation of our parish. &nbsp;We are looking for someone who doesn't just want a job, but a mission - a mission to help us move from maintenance to growth. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>As our Evangelization Coordinator, you will be the catalyst for creating a \"Path of Discipleship\", helping parishioners move from merely attending to deeply encountering Jesus Christ. &nbsp;This role is perfect for a self-starter who loves building relationships, mentoring volunteers and discovering creative ways to connect with everyone - from devoted parishioners to those who may feel on the margins.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>If you have a heart for the New Evangelization, possess exceptional communication skills and are ready to foster a culture of radical hospitality, we want to hear from you.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a part-time role of about 10-20 hours per week, with some flexibility needed for evening and weekend activities.</p><p><br></p><p>Core Purpose: &nbsp;To promote the mission to evangelize and catechize active parishioners, inactive parishioners and all searchers and seekers of Jesus Christ.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the Pastor to develop and maintain an intentional path for parishioners to deepen their encounter with Christ.</li><li>Identify, recruit and coach volunteer leaders for evangelization initiatives.</li><li>Oversee the welcoming process for newcomers and community outreach.</li><li>Partner with media staff to create an evangelizing strategy via social media, the parish bulletin and digital platforms.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilitie</strong>s:</p><ul><li>Ability to work independently, self-starter.</li><li>Ability to create, organize and execute plans; takes initiative.</li><li>Ability to collaborate and build effective teams/relationships at various levels.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Practicing Catholic with ethical standards, personal integrity, and conduct consistent with the morals and teachings of the Catholic Church.</li><li>Passionate about the Church, Religious Education, and building relationships.</li><li>Complete and maintain diocesan safe environment expectations.</li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
