    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Sr. Engineer to join their dynamic Structural Engineering team. The qualified candidate will between 5 - 9 years’ relevant experience working on design of office buildings, healthcare facilities, sports venues and other large commercial structures with construction costs of $25 million and up.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated engineer who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally.  Technical specialization, proactivity and aggressiveness when meeting client and project needs are pluses.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Clients will include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors.  In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong “can-do” customer service attitude. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>5 - 9 years’ experience in relevant commercial building design</li>\n <li>Demonstrated career growth that includes project management experience</li>\n <li>Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural</li>\n <li>Must be a licensed P.E. in Texas. S.E. preferred</li>\n <li>Must possess experience designing commercial building structures</li>\n <li>Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented</li>\n</ul>As a Hybrid Firm, Walter P Moore combines the best of both worlds – blending work options to include in-office and home office environments. This allows us to offer more flexibility and work-life integration to our employees. Candidates applying for this position should have the ability to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated office. To ensure the ability to setup a suitable home office space, Walter P Moore offers a one-time $1,000 stipend that would be paid upon completion of the first week of employment.
