We are currently looking to fill a full-time Field Service Engineer EBPG (m/f/d) position at our Dortmund site. The role can be performed from either Northern or Southern Germany and involves the support of our national and international customers.
Your mission
Managing assigned customer cases, including periodic maintenance, fault diagnosis and execution of repairs. Installing new systems and performing site surveys, followed by training and clear guidance to the customer. Close cooperation with Service colleagues (other FSE’s and technical support) and cross functional teams including Production and Engineering. Preparing upcoming service tasks, translating service requirements into materials and tools needed, and supporting the team when not travelling. Providing clear communication to customers regarding performed work, technical findings and recommended follow‑up actions. Completing administrative tasks such as service reporting, documentation of used parts, time registration and escalation of unresolved issues. Identifying improvement opportunities within daily work processes and contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study and experience in a similar role, preferably in a high technical environment. Ability to follow procedures, safety standards and work instructions. Fluent in English and German. Willing to travel regionally and internationally to support customers as required. Customer‑focused, accurate and structured in work execution.
