    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">Assist mechanical engineers in such activities as generation, transmission, or use of mechanical energy. Prepare layouts of machinery or equipment or plan the flow of work. Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery or refinery and pipeline distribution systems.</p><p>At this time we can only hire Packing Mechanics with previous tobacco manufacturing experience.&nbsp;</p><p>The current schedule is Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm with preventative maintenance and OT as needed.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;Essential Function:</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Ability to operate cigarette packing equipment (X-1, X-2, Focke) and meet product quality, output, and waste requirements as well as regulatory compliance.</li><li>Ability to diagnose machine problems and make any necessary mechanical adjustments to mitigate excessive machine downtime.</li><li>Repair or maintain the operating condition of high-speed industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.</li><li>Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.</li><li>Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.</li><li>Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.</li><li>Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.</li><li>Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.</li><li>Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.</li><li>Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.</li><li>Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.</li><li>Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials, as necessary.</li><li>Record repairs and maintenance performed.</li><li>Study blueprints or manufacturers&#39; manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.</li><li>Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.</li><li>Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Must be 21 years old</li><li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 - 5 years in high-speed industrial environment.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Self-motivator with Exhibit high sense of urgency.</li><li>Basic knowledge of tools such as wrenches, gauges, etc.</li><li>Knowledge of various units of measurement such as Standard, Metric, and British Standard.</li><li>Strong mathematical skills; analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.</li><li>General understanding of machine diagrams and blueprints.</li><li>Strong verbal and written skills.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div></div>\n",
