Description
The posting clerk performs secretarial and various general procedures associated with routine patient receipts. The position is responsible for running reports for auditing and identifying trends. This position will hybrid after successfully completing the training period!
**To be successful in this role you must live within 2 hours of the Des Moines Metro.
Key Responsibilities:
NextGen (EMR system) Portal Payments Reoccurring payments Post Bath files Work auto or manual posting errors, zero pays not posted, duplicate payments, & payment transfers ERA/patient pay files Work Unapplied/Medicaid reports Balance and post EFT remits CPS posting tasks/posting corrections Assist with other duties as assigned Researches accounts as assigned – post correction or adjustment as needed Answers questions from billing and finance departments Provides excellent customer service Track and manage production spreadsheets as assigned Run daily, weekly and/or monthly reports for auditing Insurances paying below fee schedules, recognize denial trending Adding the Denial Reasons in Ceresoft as they are requested
