You are always trying to improve the accuracy and efficiency of programs for part production. This position is essential to ensure the success of the company.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>2+ years of 3 and 4 axis machine experience is required</li>\n<li><br>MasterCam X experience preferred- will train</li>\n<li><br>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li><br>Ability to work with minimal supervision</li>\n<li><br>Ability to lift 50 pounds</li>\n<li><br>Ability to inspect parts with various measuring tools</li>\n<li><br>Must have good manual dexterity</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints</span></li>\n<li><span>Use computer software (Mastercam) to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly</span></li>\n<li><span>Design and aid in the fabrication of fixturing for parts of varying complexity</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications</span></li>\n<li>Setup, and operate a variety of CNC equipment to produce high-precision components using engineering drawings and specifications.</li>\n<li><span>Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates</span></li>\n<li><span>Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality</span></li>\n<li><span>Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly</span></li>\n<li><span>Troubleshoot and resolve problems during the manufacturing process</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening</span></li>\n<li><span>Train operator to properly carry out programs</span></li>\n<li><span>Understand and have functional use of CNC code and CNC programming</span></li>\n<li><span>Setting machine origins in accordance with the set-up instructions</span></li>\n<li><span>Machine part dimensions to maintain close tolerances with a high demand for squareness, concentricity, finish, and parallelism</span></li>\n<li><span>Setting and loading all tools in conjunction with set-up instructions to complete assigned jobs</span></li>\n<li><span>Setting up fixture components for jobs that require CNC Machining</span></li>\n<li><span>G &amp; M code fluency and ability to edit programs</span></li>\n<li><span>Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and other staff</span></li>\n<li><span>Other duties as directed by supervisor</span></li>\n<li><span>Continues to l</span><span>ead process improvement, process development, and productivity improvement efforts.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Expectations</span></span></p>\n<p><span>To perform the position of </span><span>Set up and Programming </span><span>successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility in an exemplary manner. </span><span>They will work with the shop floor leads and office personnel to ensure jobs are completed on time. </span><span>A large part of this position deals with machine set up/operation and resource management.</span></p>",
