    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">Custodial Specialist - Tucson Campus</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">AZACS is growing, and we invite you to apply to be part of our award-winning team</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">AZACS was awarded the<span> </span></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">2023/2024 National ESEA Distinguished Schools Award</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span> </span>for Arizona and the<span> </span></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: italic\">2022 YASS Prize<span> </span></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">for innovation in education and providing a transformational experience by expanding unique individualized learning programs for autism charter schools. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34)\">Duties:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Opening duties ie: may unlock the building and walk the area to ensure it's ready for school</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Closing duties ie: may walk the campus and ensure it's locked up and set the alarm</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Clean up trash, periodically disinfect desktop surfaces, tidy furniture, sweep, mop, vacuum, wax, polishing floor surfaces, cleaning windows</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Restock all disposers, i.e., paper towels, toilet paper, soap, sanitizer, and air freshener</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform maintenance and minor repairs (replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks, toilet needs, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform other maintenance to include such items as adjusting desks, replacing light bulbs, cooling filters, adjusting doors, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Report or submit additional maintenance work orders as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure the alarm system is turned off in the morning and activated before leaving</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Undertake custodial and janitorial tasks (picking up trash from the parking lot, lifting heavy items, moving chairs, etc.)</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist in the annual inventory of all equipment in the school</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Set up and restore the gym, auditorium, or cafeteria for special events, meetings, games, or plays</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Performs basic plumbing, mechanical maintenance, and repairs to leaks, stoppages, and other equipment/structures. Advise the supervisor if an outside vendor is needed for a complex repair</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure the restrooms are prepared to AZACS standards for the day</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain outer premises by watering plants, cleaning entrances, and performing minor landscaping repairs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Minimal pest control: Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34);
