MUST BE COVID VACCINATED   or at least have your first dose by start date with the 2nd dose scheduled and documented. Are you a Masters level student seeking your second year Internship or Field Placement ? Changing Lives At Home Mental Health in Baltimore City may be a perfect internship site for graduate level students seeking a degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or other human services related fields with an interest in mental health.  We are committed to the training of students by providing opportunities for meaningful learning experiences. Second year students will provide individual and family psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, or children, in the home, community, school, or office, as determined by the needs and/or desires of the client and/or legal guardian for ten (10) clients.  Applicants must be willing to commit to 20 hours per week on site, regardless of graduate school program requirements and be available for weekly clinical supervision during traditional business hours. This is an UNPAID position BUT a stipend may be provided contingent upon performance!  Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate level behavioral health program Must have completed Psychopathology, as well as course work related to Clinical Diagnoses and Treatment Planning Must be willing to submit to and pass federal, state and Child Protective background check Must obtain and provide proof of student malpractice insurance Ability to obtain or show proof of current CPR and First Aid Certification Must commit to a minimum of 1 evening per week We would love to speak to you about joining us if: You are a talented graduate student with 1-year experience providing psychotherapy You can develop effective therapeutic alliances while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries You take initiative, are skilled in time management, problem solving, crisis intervention and multitasking as part of a therapeutic team You work well with diverse populations You have an ability to work collaboratively with Agency staff You have basic knowledge of mental health diagnoses (psychopathology), treatment modalities, DSM-5 Criteria and terminology You have strong communication and writing skills Changing Lives At Home Mental Health in Baltimore City is committed to creating a more diverse community and we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity.
