Be part of an extraordinary life.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Caregivers at Sedgebrook provide direct 1:1 support to residents within their apartment homes, allowing for meaningful relationships, unrushed care, and a hospitality-focused approach in an award-winning senior living community set on a beautiful campus.</p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking warm, compassionate, and hospitality-minded <strong>full-time Caregivers</strong> to support residents with daily activities while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through <strong>individualized, one-on-one care</strong>. If you are reliable and passionate about providing senior residents with top-quality care, we would love to meet you.</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Part-time or PRN position</li>\n <li>Flexible scheduling based on your availability</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred 4-Hour Shifts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>7:00 AM - 11:00 AM</li>\n <li>8:00 AM - 12:00 PM</li>\n <li>4:00 PM - 8:00 PM</li>\n <li>5:00 PM - 9:00 PM</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred 12-Hour Shifts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>7:00 AM - 7:00 PM</li>\n <li>8:00 AM - 8:00 PM</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Weekend Availability Requirement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Every other weekend (Saturday &amp; Sunday) with a minimum of 8 hours of availability each day, or</li>\n <li>One weekend day each week with a minimum of 8 hours of availability</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide 1:1 personal care including bathing, dressing, and assistance with activities of daily living.</li>\n <li>Offer companionship, emotional support, and engaging conversation.</li>\n <li>Escort residents to errands, shopping, and medical appointments.</li>\n <li>Encourage independence, involvement, and daily engagement.</li>\n <li>Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and occasional pet care.</li>\n <li>Communicate resident status changes to supervisors.</li>\n <li>Accurately record time worked and services provided using a mobile app.</li>\n <li>Attend required trainings, meetings, and complete assigned courses on time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Previous caregiving or related experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Dementia care experience (6+ months) preferred.</li>\n <li>Strong customer service and hospitality mindset.</li>\n <li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English, and communicate effectively.</li>\n <li>Basic household skills (light cooking and housekeeping).</li>\n <li>Smartphone capability and proficiency for timekeeping and care documentation.</li>\n <li>Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months).</li>\n <li>Dependable attendance and punctuality.</li>\n <li>Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.</li>\n <li>Adequate vision and hearing.</li>\n <li>Occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals, communicable diseases, and odors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits for Full-Time Employees</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance (effective 1st of the month following hire)</li>\n <li>401(k) with company match</li>\n <li>Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Discounted employee meals and indoor parking garage access</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Short- and Long-term Disability Insurance</li>\n <li>Life and AD&amp;D Insurance</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Where You Matter</strong></p>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">\n <div>\n  <p>Join a welcoming, team-oriented senior living community where your work directly enhances residents' quality of life.</p>\n </div>\n</div>\n<p><strong>Sedgebrook is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer and a non-smoking, pet-friendly campus.</strong></p>\n<p>#clinical</p>",
