    "description": "<h2>Position Description</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>At a Glance</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a <strong>Senior Financial Accountant</strong> to join the <strong>Legrand North & Central America (LNCA)</strong> Team based in <strong>West Hartford, Connecticut</strong>.  In this role, you will be responsible for performing monthly financial close processes and analyses for the LNCA corporate area. Manage business partner relationships with functional area leaders. Perform ad-hoc analysis as required. Assist with administration of LNCA financial consolidations system. If you're excited about this role, have an interest in continuous learning, and believe your experience aligns, we encourage you to apply and grow with us!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What Will You Do?</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform monthly financial analysis on Legrand North & Central America entities including sales and income reporting.</li>\n <li>Perform monthly close processes including but not limited to journal entries, departmental reporting, BPC reporting, Intercompany Invoicing, etc.</li>\n <li>Assist the FP&A manager in the monthly financial close process with variance explanations and various reporting/analyses as required, gaining exposure to financial storytelling, variance analysis, and business decision support. </li>\n <li>Supports functional leaders of Finance, HR, and Legal in a business partner role. You will build relationships and expand your cross-functional acumen. </li>\n <li>Assist the Legrand North & Central America Internal Control Manager with entity level Balance Sheet reviews and documenting selected financial control procedures.</li>\n <li>Perform monthly internal control items including account reconciliations and journal entry review.</li>\n <li>Assist internal audit and tax team with monthly/quarterly/annual requests.</li>\n <li>Ad-hoc project support and analysis to support Legrand North & Central America corporate finance function.</li>\n <li>Assist individual entity or division contacts with data requests and report building.</li>\n <li>Participate in annual Legrand North & Central America budget and forecasting processes.</li>\n <li>Performs other similar and related duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION</strong>:</p>\n<p>• Bachelor's degree in accounting with finance related subject matter expertise or relevant experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong>:</p>\n<p>• 3+ years of relevant experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWELDG E/ABILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p>• Advanced Microsoft suite skills are required with an interest in continuing to learn and adopt new technologies and tools (Excel, Power Automate, Power BI, Access, PowerPoint)</p>\n<p>• Familiarity with usage of AI reference tools. (Copilot, ChatGPT)</p>\n<p>• SAP BPC Consolidation experience preferred</p>\n<p>• EPM Cloud experience preferred</p>\n<p>• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions.</p>\n<p>• Strong organizational and time management skills and able to effectively handle multiple priorities at one time. Close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.</p>\n<p>• Advanced Excel skills and Experience working with other Financial reporting tools such as SAP BPC, SAP ERP, Anaplan, Planful, etc.</p>\n<p>• Able to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation. Able to create effective reports, presentations and business correspondence.
