Together, our interrelated programs provide a whole-person, whole-family, and whole-life approach that unlocks solutions for a lifetime.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are looking for someone who has a passion for community and is willing to engage with community members and other organizations. This position would best be suited for someone who is:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Displays the ability to effectively engage community members</li>\n <li>Ability to articulate theories and practices that resonant with the funding partner; i.e. Equity, 2 Gen, etc.</li>\n <li>Comfortability presenting at monthly partnership meeting</li>\n <li>Works collaboratively with teams</li>\n <li>Ability to participate in training opportunities and provide feedback/summary of said training</li>\n <li>Ability to do community canvassing in their own communities and other North Shore communities</li>\n <li>Possesses multicultural competence and displays sensitivity</li>\n <li>Has a flexible schedule (weekends and some evenings required).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Position Description: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attend community outreach events to share resources for children and families.</li>\n <li>Support in co-designing activities and workshops to support the needs of the community.</li>\n <li>Attend and engage in community and city agency meetings as representatives of SICP and to be the voices of positive change for the multi-generational families in the community.</li>\n <li>Maintain a good rapport and relationship with community members and stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Possess the ability to multitask and speak publicly about the efforts of the partnership.</li>\n <li>Provide referrals to community members to programs and opportunities.</li>\n <li>Assist in identifying emerging community issues to help guide the communities response.</li>\n <li>Be able to lift 50-75 lbs.</li>\n <li>Assist in the overseeing of community ambassadors.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regular and punctual time and attendance, and adherence to The Foundling’s and your department’s specific time and attendance policies and protocol.</li>\n <li>Consistent demonstrated commitment to The Foundling’s BHAG, mission, vision and values (Compassion, Dignity, Family and Community, Diversity, Excellence).</li>\n <li>Adherence to The Foundling’s employee policies, Code of Conduct and applicable rules, laws, regulations or bargaining agreements.</li>\n <li>[<strong>If applicable:</strong>] Appropriate engagement with support departments to ensure appropriate and timely hiring, performance management, investigation, discipline, suspension, and restructuring decisions concerning direct reports.
