    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.18.17/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.18.17/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><div><div><p>&nbsp;<strong>Job Title:</strong>&nbsp; <strong>On</strong><strong>&nbsp;Call Floater&nbsp;</strong><strong>Driver/Courier&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><ins>Position Summary</ins>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>The Driver/Courier is responsible for transporting VIPs from local airports/hotels to SOUTHCOM Headquarters, and return, while driving Government-owned passenger cars, SUVs, passenger vans, cargo vans, limousines, and pickup trucks.&nbsp;</p><p><ins>Essential Functions of the Position</ins>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Obey all posted speed limits, traffic signals, and directional signs, in compliance with applicable state laws&nbsp;</li><li>Transport passengers and passengers&rsquo; material possessions, such as luggage (luggage will not exceed 50 pounds per bag)&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(59,59,59);background-color: white;\">Drive safely and deliver passengers/products within deadlines</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(59,59,59);background-color: white;\">Analyze delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule</span>&nbsp;</li><li><span style=\"color: rgb(59,59,59);background-color: white;\">Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenances</span>&nbsp;</li><li>Load and unload the vehicles, and ensure the vehicles are sent in for periodic maintenance and cleaning&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0.75in;\"><strong><ins>Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</ins></strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Drivers shall be capable of driving vehicles up to 12,500 pounds, capable of carrying loads weighing up to 800 pounds and the ability to operate either gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles&nbsp;</li><li>The drivers shall not use electronic equipment, e.g., radio, iPod or MP3 devices, cell phones, etc. during the scheduled service period when the vehicle is standing, loading, or unloading passengers&nbsp;</li><li>Must be capable of driving passenger vans, passenger cars, limousines, cargo vans, and trucks&nbsp;</li><li>Must ensure the following trainings are successfully completed: Local Area Network (LAN) Training Course (upon initial processing), and Army Accident Avoidance Course&nbsp;</li><li>Making daily or regular personal calls, e.g. family, friends, and personal business, for any reason under non-emergency circumstances shall be strictly prohibited.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be familiar with approved State of Florida Department of Transportation and Miami- Dade County hurricane evacuation routes and procedures in the event of inclement weather&nbsp;</li><li>Shall be prohibited from texting while driving when on official Government business or when performing any work for or on behalf of the Government &nbsp;</li><li>Alcoholic beverages, or other impairing agents, to include prescription drugs that impair driving, shall not be consumed within eight hours prior to the beginning of a scheduled shift&nbsp;</li><li>Be familiar with approved State of Florida Department of Transportation and Miami- Dade County hurricane evacuation routes and procedures in the event of inclement weather&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to drive automatic transmissions or manual five-speed transmissions&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0.75in;\">&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong><ins>Physical Demands</ins></strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
