All protocols are clearly documented and taught using inclusive and recurring training sessions. A phlebotomist in this position might work at a fixed donor center location or at various community sites via mobile blood drives and will work with a variety of donors each shift. </p>\n<p><strong>Sign On Bonus 2500!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> To support area blood drives and donor centers around the Twin Cities (<em>training at the St. Paul center). </em></p>\n<p><strong>Schedule</strong>: Variable schedule - Monday - Friday with rotating weekends.  May be scheduled between 6:00 a.m. -9:00 p.m as well as some overnight travel</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<li>Assess and document vitals of presenting donors to determine eligibility.</li>\n<li>Perform blood collection (phlebotomy) in accordance with applicable policies and safety procedures.</li>\n<li>Provide excellent customer service and pre/post donation care as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist with the setup of community blood drives including the safe loading/unloading of mobile units.</li>\n<li>Perform cleaning tasks, including equipment cleaning.</li>\n<li>Ensure accuracy, acceptability, and completeness of documentation to prevent loss of units.</li>\n<li>Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The hourly rate for this position is $19.53 - $21.03/hr. (including applicable shift differentials)</p>\n<p><em>IBR also offers comprehensive benefits (including medical, vision, dental, paid time off, and sick days) to full and part-time employees, as well as the opportunity to participate in a 403(b)-retirement plan with a generous employer contribution.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required</li>\n <li>Local travel.
