    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">JOB SUMMARY:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The Advanced Practice Provider manages the medical care of their patients at Blue Stone Health &amp; Wellness.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">The following are all to be performed according to the National Standard of Care</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">1. Urgent Care services as needed</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">2. Fill in provider schedule as needed</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">3. Provide competent medical management of patient care</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">4. Examine, diagnose, and treat patients</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">5. Document carefully, accurately, and thoroughly all patient encounters in the EHR</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">6. Order medications, treatments, etc. as needed</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">7. Order and interpret routine laboratory and other diagnostic tests and X-rays as needed</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">8. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients, parents, or</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">guardians as applicable</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">9. Monitor patient’s condition and progress and re-evaluates treatment as necessary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">10. Refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">11. Provide counseling, education, and instructions to patients according to their needs</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">12. Provider charting should be completed within 24 hours from patient encounter</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">13. Medication Refills and all other physician tasks should be processed within 24 hours</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">14. Each provider is responsible to take call for their own patients after hours. If provider will be out of</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">town or unavailable, it is their responsibility to arrange coverage with another provider</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">15. All physicians must participate in Mid-level Provider supervision, as able</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">16. Maintain patient confidentiality, following HIPAA regulations</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">17. Abide by Blue Stone Health &amp; Wellness policies and procedures</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">18. Follow corporate compliance standards, carefully avoiding all forms of Medicare/Medicaid fraud</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">and abuse</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">19. Other duties as assigned</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">• Education and licensure: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Valid and current license in the state of CA</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, complete short correspondence, and</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">memos.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical skills necessary for medication administration, and</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">other skills as needed.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding in written, oral, or diagram form.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">• Interpersonal skills: Demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills necessary to</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">consistently interact with patients, patient’s family, and staff members in a professional manner. The</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">provider should be able to deal with unhappy patients or difficult situations, and always be professional</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">and courteous.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt\">successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
