They are responsible for providing a positive, educational, and supportive atmosphere for their classes.</p><p><strong id=\"isPasted\">Job Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Instruction:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Lead group and private Pilates Reformer sessions, ensuring safe and effective workouts for all clients.</li><li>Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate different fitness levels and individual needs.</li><li>Educate clients on proper form, technique, and the benefits of Pilates.</li><li>Arrives to class on time or up to 10 minutes prior to set up for class.</li><li>Programming should consist of authentic Pilates exercises and principals.</li></ul><p><strong>Client Engagement:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.</li><li>Assess clients&#39; fitness levels, goals, and any medical considerations to tailor sessions appropriately.</li><li>Offer encouragement and constructive feedback to help clients improve their skills and achieve their goals.</li><li>Actively recruits new Pilates clients.</li></ul><p><strong>Studio Maintenance:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ensure all equipment is clean, properly set up, and maintained.</li><li>Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Pilates Program Coordinator promptly.</li><li>Assist with general studio upkeep and organization.</li><li>Willing to learn software needed to check in clients.</li></ul><p><strong>Professional Development:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Stay current with industry trends, continuing education, and certification requirements.</li><li>Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.</li><li>Willing to receive instructional assistance and training from the Pilates Program Coordinator</li></ul><p><strong id=\"isPasted\">Required Licenses/ Certificates/Registrations:</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Certified Pilates Instructor with a specialization in Pilates.&nbsp;</li><li>Comprehensive certification from nationally recognized Pilates organization preferred.</li><li>Group Fitness Experience minimum 1 year- Preferred</li><li>CPR and AED certification required.</li></ul><p><strong id=\"isPasted\">Required Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Minimum 2-3 years in a Pilates studio or fitness setting</li><li>Strong understanding of human anatomy &amp; biomechanics</li><li>Ability to motivate and inspire clients</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>EEO Statement:</u></strong></p><p>The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, and our family of agencies, is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
