    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Baptist Health Brookwood is looking for a <strong>Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager</strong> or <strong>CANM</strong> to work <strong>full-time Baylor weekends</strong> covering our <strong>Night </strong>shift for our <strong>Surgical ICU</strong>. The CANM is responsible for leading the shift operations within the clinical setting to ensure delivery of high-quality care, exceptional customer experience, and optimal patient flow. In conjunction with the Department Nursing Operations Manager and the Assistant Nursing Operations Manager (ANOM); the CANM provides guidance, fosters collaboration, and is responsible for the unit’s clinical operations including patient care assignments, customer experience, productivity, and quality outcomes in settings where patients have an advanced illness or injury that routinely requires timely, intense, and complex care to stabilize and support the patient’s medical condition. These areas require a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio and highly trained team members with advanced skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About our Hospital</strong></p>\n<p>Serving the Homewood community, Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is a 595-bed acute-care hospital located in Birmingham, Alabama. The facility offers a full complement of services, including emergency care, cardiovascular care, bariatrics, orthopedics and rehabilitation, and surgical services. It also is one of the largest providers of psychiatric care in the state. The hospital has earned Primary Stroke Center certification from The Joint Commission, and its bariatric program has been accredited as a  Comprehensive Center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensure/Certification</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Alabama or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).</li>\n <li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.</li>\n <li>May require advanced certifications based on the assigned patient population.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>A minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse</li>\n</ul>",
